A is for Ash, the color is white.  White Ash is used for making baseball bats.  It grows in the Eastern United States.


B is for Beech, the color is copper.  Copper Beech is used for making furniture.  It grows in the Eastern United States.


C is for Cedar, the color is Red.  Red Cedar is used to line cedar chests.  It grows in the Northwestern United States.

Carol Frey was born in Stamford, CT.  She has a degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from, The King’s College, which was then located in Briarcliff Manor, NY.  Married, and with a young family, they  moved to York, PA, where she and her children, during her children’s elementary years,  became involved in competition of Environmental Sciences. She and her children always enjoyed going for walks in the country, observing the things of nature.  Carol has always enjoyed Art, and has taken courses to hone her skills as an artist.  Through her love of art and nature she decided to write a book for children to learn and enjoy God’s creation. < o : p >
