Mick and Wyatt walked mostly in silence as they continued to work their way back towards the market. By this time, Wyatt was now quite sure that his slightly unorthodox angelic visitor had been methodically teaching him spiritual lessons, one by one. He found himself marveling at both the love and knowledge that Mick had for their heavenly Father and it made him hunger to know more about their awesome Creator.
The copious amount of biblical wisdom that Mick had been imparting to Wyatt was curiously incongruent with their sometimes comedic banter. However, the level playing field that Mick presented as the forum for their discussions had somehow been a very effective way for him to build their now, mutual trust. Wyatt was sure that the effectiveness of their interactions would have been greatly diminished if it weren’t for the wonderful combination of Mick being so easy-to-identify-with coupled with his informal approach to their discussions. He wondered if Mick had always used such a colloquial approach to his duties and for some reason, he just couldn’t help but to wonder what the Aramaic word for “dude” was …
& n b s p ; & nbsp; As they continued their short trek back to the market, Wyatt continued to ponder the progressive nature of their discussions that day and he realized most assuredly that they weren’t random in the least bit. He found it ironic that although the day had originally started out as a primarily biblical discussion between two complete strangers, it had naturally evolved into a student-teacher discourse. What at first seemed to be an innocuous chat over coffee between two guys about the Lord had inexorably revealed itself to be an invisible curriculum that Mick was steadfastly following. He could now almost see Mick checking off topics on a mental clipboard as they progressed throughout the day. All-in-all, this was definitely the most interesting day that Wyatt had ever experienced, and it wasn’t over quite yet. Actually, not by a long way.
