“Now is fine” is one of those multipurpose phrases. It can be a reminder to “seize the day.” It might be interpreted, “Let’s get this show on the road.” It can be said with enthusiasm, sarcasm, or resignation. Its meaning is determined by intent and tone of voice.
Using a family story as the springboard, mother-son writing team Judith and Perry Edwards blend their friendship, their love for writing, and their life experiences in Or Now Is Fine: Choosing to Obey God’s Stop! Wait! Go! In this collection of stories, Bible studies, and devotional thoughts, they explore topics such as why the apostle Paul would certainly be named “Now Is Fine Man of the Centuries,” why it’s important to remember things while we can, and how we should embrace our uniqueness because that’s how God planned it.
Journey with the Edwards family as they explore times to worship, remember, celebrate, wait on the Lord, and respond when He calls.
