Grace paused, “Think of all the people who love you! Especially the love your mommy and daddy have for you. Now imagine that God’s love for you, and me, and everyone is a million times more love than that!” “Wow!” I said, “God must have a whole lot of love!” Then Grace told me that God is Love, and that God cares about my heart most. “Little Lena, always remember to Love God with all your heart and your neighbor too. Those are the two great commandments.” I said, “I Love God very much, and God makes my heart happy. But, when you talk about my neighbor, you mean my neighbor like you, like when I came over to ask you to catch butterflies?” Grace said, “Exactly like that, but that your neighbor means everybody. Share God’s love with everybody!”

Debra’s love of writing and commitment to teaching young people about God prompted this book. She lives with her husband in Iowa. She has two grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and one “extremely precious” granddaughter.
