Robby has a problem. He is afraid of heights. Now this wouldn’t be so bad if he was a little boy, but Robby is a bird!
It’s a scary world out there for a bird that won’t fly. All sorts of mean creatures live on the ground and Robby Robin just might meet one. It is on just such a day when Robby realizes what it means to be a bird – to be closer to his family and to the blessed Creator who made him!
Robby Robin is the story of one little critter’s realization of purpose. God made him for a reason. He made Robby to fly. We all have God-given gifts and He wants us to use them. So join Robby as he discovers what it means to be a bird; what it means to be brave; and what it means to trust in the God who created him to fly!
“Spring is certainly my favorite time of year,” chirped Mr. Robin happily. “It is a time of new beginnings.”
He was perched on a branch high up in the big maple tree. From his high perch he could see houses at the edge of the woods.
“Yes, God shows us the whole world can be new again.” said Mrs. Robin. She was on the branch next to him. “Like our new nest. It will be perfect for starting our new family!”
Mrs. Robin was busy arranging twigs and pieces of straw. She and Mr. Robin had been gathering them all morning.
