If you’ve got it all together

Then this book is not for you

But if you change the way you’re thinking

Then you change the things you do

Or if you’re under the impression-

That where you are then you must stay

Then perfect keep on reading

You’ll see things a different way

……Everyone has a story

It may be painful but it’s true

This is just part of my journey

I hope you see you have one too…

To all of those who have searched  - and not yet found….. to all of those who are lost and hurting in the spaces of life: You have a choice. Instead of remaining frozen with nowhere to go, look into the mirror with peace, love and humor in your heart. In The Writing’s on the wall….hope for self-help addicts, author Kaptain Obvious presents a remarkable collection of short stories to help us balance the painful realities of life - with a perspective of understanding and purpose.

Funny form of therapy

Funny form of therapy-

The paper and the pen...

Or pencil, chalk and crayon-

To get out what you have in.

Funny form of therapy-

Asking one to share....

Everything we have inside

...As if neatly filed there.

Funny form of therapy-

Mixing pills with pain...

Like that will make it go away-

What of — "no pain no gain?"

Funny form of therapy-

Problem isolation....

Maybe time away from here?-

...In the form of a vacation

I prefer the therapy-

To remind us our devotions....

The only kind to touch the heart

And bring back our emotions.....

The funniest form of therapy-

Is just to look around....

And see yourself as God sees you-

...The funniest form that’s found!

Status Quo woe's

Let me tell a woeful tell

Of a thing that we all know...

Our common denominator:

To keep things "status quo"...

Had you once considered-

Where the origin or word begin?

Or that it's definition...

Simply means: 'the mess we're in'?

So why are we pursuing

Or seeking things that are not good?...

And not doing things we should do???

(Though we say we wish we could!)

Ah.....but lack of knowledge

Or where we think we can control...

But if you would go back there?...

Does that give your life the woa???

"Woe to you" the Bible says-

I prefer to remain anonymous...
Whatever's written - is still true
(It's about loving other people)
...Not what I've done - or do

Just observe and watch and listen...
Then care about what YOU see-
...(So I don't see any reason)-
To tell the history of "me"...

So I'm going undercover-
And I hope you understand...
You can crucify a character.....
--But you can't crucify the man.
