The words of love are powerful in our hearts. We can build a meaningful life if we only allow ourselves to be true to our feelings. In 1 John 4:8, God said, “He that loveth not, knoweth not God; for God is love.” God’s words remind us that we can find happiness when we don’t feel the love, and we can find comfort when we are feeling alone and separate from the person we married. 

What Is True Love in a Marriage? explores the love we hope to find in a marriage and what we believe love should encompass in a relationship. It was inspired by the true meaning of love as determined by God, the creator of the love that so many of us so often take for granted. 

Inspired by God’s love and words, this examination of relationship dynamics is for the women who have shared thoughts of love, and for those who have not yet experienced the real feelings true love brings. It is for the men who want to share their love, and their understanding of love, in a marriage. It aims to guide you toward discovering the true spirit that touches so many of our lives and help you discover or rediscover unconditional love.

For all the women who have shared the same thoughts I do or for those who have not experience the real feeling of true love. To be able to bring the true spirit that will touch so many of us in our lives, and for all the men who want to share their love and their dreams of what true love is in a marriage.     Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the lord.  (Psalm 105:3)

What is True Love in a Marriage?  Maybe it’s having a husband who loves you, for who you are unconditionally…..     Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favor of the Lord.   (Proverbs 18:22)

Maybe, it’s the love he gives you when he marries you.  He promised not to share his love with other women and to have you near his heart always.  Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.  (Proverbs 5:15)

Let this Love that we found in each other grow and be fruitful in God’s eyes.   Be Blessed….   Let thy foundation be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of the youth. (Proverbs 5:18)

 Finally, True Love in a Marriage is when one day you wake up, and both of you have gracefully aged, and you are now sharing your life’s memories.      The glory of young men is their strength; and the beauty of old men is the gray head.  (Proverbs 20:29)
