Man’s best friend is his dog. But what if a dog is more than just a friend? What if a dog is also a teacher? Frank D’Erminio was a probation officer. Frequently, he dealt with some of the worst of the worst society had to offer. It was easy to lose hope and give up on the human race. Muffin’s Love is a true story for true pet lovers. Muffin was a devoted friend, dedicated to her master and her master’s family. In the unconditional love of Muffin, Frank saw parallels with the love God has for us—and the love we should have for God.  We should love God with all of our hearts, minds, souls, and strength.

Muffin—and so many dogs like her—are on earth to touch human lives. Dogs show absolute love, and their love can often remind us of the love of our Savior. If we truly love and trust our divine Master, He will gladly guide our paths. We will live fuller, happier lives, while blessing the loved ones around us. Frank D’Erminio spent twenty-five years as a probation officer, helping people suffering from addiction. Recently retired, he is seeking new ways to serve God. Muffin’s Love is his first step; for Frank, Muffin’s story is a constant reminder of how great God truly is.
